Full Moon is an experiment in culture making, holding, and remembering Conceived of and run by artists it exists as shapeshifting entity that is on any day: a tea business, a school, a place to tell stories, a store, a hope, a wish, and a dream. The image of the moon guides this experiment because it something that is known and unknown. It is universal. It follows the same orbit time and time again finding it’s way back to fullness. It acknowledges the hands, the places, and the ideas that make our world. It exists as a collective but more as a spider web: soft, tensile, strong, resilient, adaptable.
PODCAST
This podcast is inspired by the work of many incredible thinkers who have shown us how remembering the past and imagining a future land us squarely in the magic of the present possibilility. On this podcast you might hear an experimental audio tour of a season, a new moon meditation, or an interview with your new favorite poet. This podcast is a part of larger experiment called Full Moon. Special thanks to Air of Colors for the music.
Artists interviewed: Melody Overstreet, Athena Kokoronis, Kim Zitzow, Emily Tareila
STORE
We created and curated an online shop that showcases a few of our favorite artists and their offerings. These are limited edition and artist produced publications and objects. Our tea is blended in house with the intention of offering medicine as culture that can be enjoyed daily. Full Moon sources and sells delicious herbal tea. We think culture can be medicine and that the culture we participate in everyday is the center of that. Tea that is sourced from local, ethical, small farms is medicine.
