On-air live radio station broadcast on August 19th, 2017 Yerba Buena Center for the Arts as part of Public Square and is available to stream on-line.

This station is an emergence of a year spent in community discussing equity; it’s patterns, issues, and dialogues. This station is an amplification of voices as a way to weave a story about change. Radio Free Equity also serves as a time machine. It brings our interstitial, messy, and beautiful process to life with stories, conversations, memories remembered, future dreams articulated. It was made over the course of 18 months with the YBCA Equity Fellows cohort. The radio station is a fleeting place for reflection for the iterative narrative of tangled lives and concepts of equity.
